The two lovely granddads of Irish cinema have bagged big roles in new TV shows.
Colm Meaney has a recurring part on Will, a saucy new US drama chronicling William Shakespeare’s ‘wild’ 20s in London. Meanwhile, Gleeson will return to comedy on Australian show Mr Cranky, starring as the titular short-tempered crime boss.
